Brooks Funerals- It's better to know us but not need us, than need us and not know us
Your final goodbye to a loved one should be as special as the person themselves.

Brooks pride themselves on providing a personal service tailored to each family’s needs.

Whether the funeral is a simple, private family affair or a grand public event, your personal funeral arranger is available to guide you through the whole process and perhaps provide ideas that you may not have thought of.
Many people find final closure by having their loved one spend their last night at home with them. This enables them to say their final personal goodbyes. At Brooks, we encourage the mourning process to be as personal and individual as grief is, so be it this request, or any other, please discuss your wishes and we will do our upmost to facilitate them.

Funerals that reflect your loved ones
Fewer families these days follow the traditional route of a church service followed by the burial or cremation. Some use only the facilities provided at the cemetery or crematorium whilst others seek comfort by having the loved one at home for a final time to say their personal goodbyes.
We have been helping families to organise funerals for their loved ones for many years. We pride ourselves on our personal, friendly and caring touch. We appreciate how difficult a time like this may be for yourselves and your family. You may have questions that may arise about the planning of a loved one’s funeral. We are on hand to answer any questions. We have a close relationship with many religious organisations within the local and wider areas and are able to introduce you to religious leaders of all denominations.
Eco Friendly & Humanist Funerals
If the person who has passed away has no religious beliefs, then a religious service may not be required. Families may wish to hold a non-religious ceremony using words, reciting poems or playing music that may reflect their loved one’s life.
Non-religious funerals are flexible in format and can be easily adapted to the family’s needs or tailored to their own established traditions or beliefs.
The Eulogy is the main part of the ceremony, an extended appreciation of the life, personality and achievements of the loved one who has passed.
We also have people who can carry out combined religious and non-religious services should family members feel the necessity for prayers or hymns.
We are here for you
Our staff are highly trained and are available to guide you through the process. Whether you require a relaxed meeting at home or in the more formal setting of our head office, we are available to help you.
All funerals are individual, so costs will vary. Once we are aware of your requirements, we will then provide a quotation based on your needs.
IF ANOTHER FUNERAL DIRECTOR OFFERS TO PRICE MATCH US, YOU MIGHT WANT TO CONSIDER IF THEY WERE TOO EXPENSIVE IN THE FIRST PLACE.
